The Democratic genius for failure continues. My favorite quote: At a time when Democrats had Bush on the ropes over Iraq, the budget and port security, Feingold single-handedly turned the debate back to an issue where Bush has the advantage — and drove another wedge through his party.ÂÂ
It’s as if they are trying to be the minority party for the next 8 years or so. Senators are legendary for their distance from the public opinion but this is just amazing. Doesn’t Feingold know that most Americans are ok with this whole wire-tapping foreign terrorists thing? Of course he does. This is pandering to a constituency completely out of step with most of the American electorate in an attempt to get the ’08 Democratic nomination.
Good luck with that Sen Feingold, good luck with that.

I like Islay malts too. It’s unfortunate that they’re wasted on the likes of you.

And they drink as long as they don’t get caught. Oh and the Kool-Aid. They’ve all had the Kool-Aid.
